Ahhhhh!!! Just read from the AFA site that May'n's (..lol) ticket is $68 for the VIP pass. I so wanna get it, but I'll be all alone if I did. I don't know anyone else who's gonna get the vip tickets.. and I don't want to be so far away from May'n. ;_;

I know I'm three days late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY VALERIE!!!
Sara and co. decided one fine morning to suprise her yesterday night, and despite certain setbacks and misfortune, I guess we caught her off-guard after all. Awwwwww~
We bought her a delicious and fattening chocolate cake with 5 different layers of delectable goodness. What this means is that, no matter how many times she eats it, she would find a different taste each time!! One layer near the bottom was a wafer and it combined exquisitely with the chocolatey taste. It was awesome.
(1 point for Yakitate Japan reference anyone?? Well it was not so much 'yakitate', rather just 'yakicake', as I will demonstrate in the next few paragraphs. Also, nagi-nice-pun.jpg)
There were a few problems of course, and one big mistake was lighting the candles on the cake too fast, thereby melting the chocolate surface on top and well, making quite a sticky situation so bad that we had troubles even removing the plastic protection from the sides of the cake. Now I hear questions coming from the crowd about why we didn't just wait till Sara and Val to be closer to the destination and then lighting it up. Well, one thing was, our lighter broke.
So we had to go around asking random people for lighters, and this one kind sould gave us a light. So like virgins at a frat party we hastily lighted all the candles while asking Sara to hurry it up. (okay that was bad)
And Sara, had a mind of his own to go buy the lighter for us, thus lengthening the point of contact. This was a bad move, because not only was time running out for some of the candles, we stupidly placed each of the 10 candles so close to each other. Now just think of 10 fat and sweaty gay blokes cramping it out in a small cubicle during the hottest day in Singapore while getting their fantasies fulfilled. In what way, you decide.
Yes, it was that bad.
Wax was all over the place and the cake just couldn't bear all this faggotry. (I hear groans)
But you know what? You know what's amazing about this cake?? Even though it was given thorough bashing, survived extreme heat and overall exhaustive melting, it's still fucking delicious and it blew my mind.
God.
So we head down to Sushi Tei to have dinner. After some slick work from Melvin, we got a VIP room for free when you actually have to spend a minimal fee of $250. Well actually it was because the other seats were full so they couldn't help it. It's all good though.
I could tell Mel was painfully hungry. Oiii, zura ga zureteiru zo~ He ordered three dishes and ate like a tiger proud of its early bird catch. And for some reason today, I realized that I ordered all cold dishes, which kinda sucks when you see the others eating delicious curry rice. But goddamn, raw prawns and salmon are awesome. They're just so pure.
So after dinner, we split ways with Val, Mel and Allan taking the cab home. So the remaining three of us, Sara, Jake and me went back via MRT. All the while lecturing Sara about the importance of vocal fluidity and being able to cope with the band's sound while he completely tries to prove the opposite. In which case the band must adhere to the vocalist. Hahaha, shit was fun.
And oh yeah, hope you had a fun time, Valerie!! To think me and most of the others didn't even know you a few months ago, and now we're all like surprise surprise for birthday like that. Oretachi wa saikyou darou?? Gyahaha.
Haha, but seriously, did you really think you wouldn't celebrate it with us this year? Mada mada amai nee.

Why am I so attracted to her? She's the most normal girl around, yet I find her the most special in the show. Is her mediocrity too powerful that I'm lured into thinking that she's more normal than generic normal shit so she's special even amongst the others? Nami-chaaaan!!!
Perhaps this whole affection towards her is the normal way of going about things. Then that would make it extremely normal.
Anyway. I REALLY need to change blogskins. The more I look at it, the gayer it gets. FFFFFFFFFishpaste.

OH MY FRIKKIN GOODNESS!!! TORA-FRIKKIN-DORA IS ON TV TOMORROW ON ARTS CENTRAL!!!
Wow I can't believe they picked this title up. It's the one I've been looking forward to for the fall selection. And I just realized the first episode was last week!! How frikkin slow can I be?
Well, they have been picking up a lot of animes that stars Kugimiya Rie as loveable tsudere-leads. SOMEONE in that company must idolise her... And I realize they're all aired on Thursday. What is this, Tsundere-Thursday or something? Lol can't wait to see how it turns out.
