Expecting too much of something is never good. I think I've been guilty of that one too many times. I never learn, lol.
Animes that I'm currently watching are K-on, Sora Kake Girl and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The animes to the left.. well I've finished some of them, but it's hard for me to touch on the rest.. well, because I need to save some good ones for later..?
Soaring Cake Girl seems fun, although I haven't selected a 'favourite girl' from the series yet. Although Leopald is my favourite male character now. Haha. Is he even male, tho?
To be honest, I really can't call myself an avid anime watcher with the amount of animes I've seen. Not that I wanna call myself one or anything. It's just that I've been missing out on a lot of stuffs, and the gap seems to widen with every coming season. Ah well, just as long as I watch the quality ones.
Oh yea, let me introduce you to one of my favourite voice actress, Inoue Marina-san. She has already voice a favourite for me, being Minami Kana of bakayarou anime 'Minami-Ke'. She is quite popular for taking up roles for seemingly evil intellectual young boys with Seki-Leigh Shiroe from "Terra E" and Shigeru Kanmuri from "Yakitate Japan!" as examples. She also has a tendency to play loud and energetic characters, Kana and Mutsuki from Manabi Straight are examples.Hopefully she'll get more awesome roles like Kana and I can laugh out loud everytime.

Yui is so awesome!! I know this feeling when you get your first guitar, lol!! I, too have slept with my guitar like this!! I KNOW THE FEELING!!! But well, most of the time it's because I'm too lazy to put it back into the bag after a long practice session during the night, so I just sleep with it. Haha.

I don't know how, but it has an air of nostalgia in it. This air consumes you and all of a sudden you get caught up in the atmosphere, and somehow, at the end you feel a bit sad. Hehe, I'm not really good at explaining things, but that's how I feel.

So tomorrow's gonna be my last day working at timezone. Truth be told, it was one heck of a job on its busiest day. I enjoyed the experience and have learnt a lot about life. About people, and their feelings. Watching the interactions between people was a fun daily activity for me. When certain conditions are met, it can bring out the best or the worst in one.
There are those stubborn ones who don't wanna work with you. Those who act pro but don't really know what's going on. Those who take the long route instead of the simple ones. Thsoe who are downright lazy. Those whoa are really stuck-up. Those who are playful, idiotic and awesome at times. Those who are not who they seem they are. Those who do not know WHAT they are. Those who, with a little guidance, could gain the best things out of life. Those who may surprise you, in lots of ways. Those who are contented with life's simplest pleasures. Those who are not bound by logic or common sense, the geniuses. Those who are an individual. And lots of other things.
I am going to miss this job. Definitely one of the better chapters in my life.

So today was practically a normal day at work until something I would have never expected to happen, happened.
Lay Khean and Gigi surprised me with a gift, apparently because I was going NS soon and everything. I didn't think the occassion calls for a gift of any sort, so I was shocked they bought me something. And not just any simple thing, it was an 'electric guitar wind-up musical box' thingy. Lol I don't know what you call that, but I'm gonna post a pic of it soon. Lay Khean said she chose the gift, so props to her for choosing something so meaningful to me. Hahaha, yea guitar merchandises of any sort will cheer me up, lol.
So this gift was really unexpected, or maybe they just like to give people gifts? Hahaha, I don't know. But in all my life, no one bought me a gift this special for something trivial. So I'm really touched, and I really really love the gift!! It's so damn cute and plays the 'classic party song thingy'. Hahahaa, I suddenly feel that life will doesn't just give you downs for fun. It builds it up to a critical moment, and then BAM! Something unexpected happens and you feel that you're on top of the world. Hahaha, well I'm not saying that this had that sort of extreme impact, but it made me feel really happy and glad to have people that cares about me. I'm so happy!!

Listening To [ Dan Dan Dan ] by Sun & Lunar

So I've been marathoning lots of animes recently. One of those is 'Seto No Hanayome'. Again, I know I'm quite late, but it shouldn't matter if what you're watching is good stuff. And this certainly is.
The 'story flow' is pretty much like Rosario+Vampire and ToLoveru , but with less fanservice and more.. erm... 'substance'. I don't know what's the word I'm looking for, but it's just so much better than those two listed even when it has the usual character archetypes and cliches. Let's just say it tries to be more dynamic and liberal in those areas, which adds a bit more dimension to those characters. The jokes are funnier too, even when you see them coming from a mile away.
It's hard to be original when everything that's gonna be made is gonna be a copy of something regardless of opinion. This anime has its own 'feel' to it and that's hard to achieve. I mean, almost every anime I watch nowadays is 'High school comedy No.XX' without having or adding it's own touch to it, even when it has an original plot. Blindly following the formula is going to net you very average results if you don't add anything to it. I don't know what SNH added, but it works. I haven't finished watching it yet, but I'm sure I'll rate it around 7 or 8.
